Job Description - Assistant Vice President

Job Description: AVP - Projects (Real Estate)

Position Title: AVP – Projects (Construction)

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

Job Summary: We are seeking an
experienced and dynamic AVP - Projects to oversee and manage the lifecycle of
our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned civil engineer
with over 18 years of experience in the industry, demonstrating exceptional
leadership and communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of
project execution from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Management:
    • Develop and implement
      project plans, schedules and budgets.

    • Ensure that all projects
      are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

    • Coordinate internal
      resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of
      projects.

    • Establish and maintain
      relationships with contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.

  2. Execution and Monitoring:
    • Oversee the day -to -day
      operations of projects to ensure they align with the approved plans.

    • Monitor and track project
      progress, addressing any issues that arise.

    • Ensure compliance with
      building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.

    • Conduct regular site
      visits to oversee quality control and ensure projects are progressing as
      planned.

  3. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor and manage
      project teams, including project managers, engineers, and site
      supervisors.

    • Foster a collaborative and
      high -performance culture within the team.

    • Provide training and
      development opportunities for team members.

  4. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
    • Act as the primary point
      of contact for all project -related communications.

    • Prepare and present
      regular project updates and reports to senior management and
      stakeholders.

    • Address and resolve any
      project -related conflicts or issues.

  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate
      potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Develop contingency plans
      to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity.

  6. Financial Oversight:
    • Manage project finances,
      including budget preparation, cost tracking and financial reporting.

    • Ensure efficient
      allocation of resources and control project expenses.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's
    degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 18 years of experience in project management within the
    real estate industry.

  • Proven track record of managing large -scale real estate projects
    from inception to completion.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem -solving and decision -making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials and
    legal regulations.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with green building practices and sustainable
    construction methods.

  • Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
