Assistant Vice President, Service Now Platform Engineer

Platform engineer will own the technical health and day to day operation of our ServiceNow instance.  They will also lead technical development on the platform, responsible for platform management and architecture, development and configuration.  helping to deliver workflows, business rules, UI, policies, scripts and more.  Developing customer apps and enhancements using App Engine and ServiceNow platform. acting as mentor to Junior Dev. Will be primary technical escalation for ServiceNow issues across the org. Assisting with implementation partners, as needed. Keeping close relationship with ServiceNow TAM.

•    5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience
•    Strong expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM)
•    Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (all script types)
•    Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, security model, and platform best practices
•    Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Performance Analytics
•    Proven experience with REST/SOAP APIs and complex enterprise integrations
•    Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)
•    Experience with database management and query optimization
•    ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
•    ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent strongly preferred
•    Experience managing enterprise-scale implementations (1,000+ users)
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently as the primary internal platform expert
•    Excellent communication skills - can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
•    Multiple ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications
•    ITIL Foundation or higher certification
•    Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
•    Background with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
•    Experience with ServiceNow IR, GRC, SecOps, or other specialized modules
•    Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
