Assistant Warehouse Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Manage daily warehouse operations including inbound, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders to support customer service and business requirements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and minimize shrinkage / damages.
• Supervise warehouse staff, allocate manpower effectively, and drive team productivity.
• Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team to ensure high performance and discipline on the floor.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as supply chain, customer service, transport, finance, and sales for smooth operational execution.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety, housekeeping, and compliance requirements.
• Track warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time dispatch, inventory accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time.
• Support implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost control, and service levels. • Manage third-party vendors / transport partners where applicable.
• Ensure proper documentation and system updates in ERP / SAP.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in warehouse / logistics operations.
• Must have handled a team of warehouse staff / operators / supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes including inventory control, dispatch, receiving, and stock reconciliation.
• Experience working with ERP / SAP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety, compliance, and operational controls.
• Strong people management, problem-solving, and coordination skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
