Ensure overall FID operations, Communicate & understand the dispatch plan to shop floor team, Daily Monitoring of Production Plan vs Actual, Safety- Zero accident, Defect monitoring, Manpower handling, training and maintain 5S in FID

Main Responsibilities / Job Summary

• Monitoring of Production -Plan Vs Actual at FID and


• Responsible for overall OHT FID operations in a shift which include

  1. Flash/vent trimming
  
  
  2. Visual Inspection
  
  
  3. X-ray / RRO / RRM Testing
  
  
  4. Repair Activities
  
  
  5. Tire Awling
  
  
  6. Air Leak Test
  
  
  7. Cured Tire Transfer from Curing to FID
  
  
  
  

• Responsible to maintain the Floor discipline & Floor Inventory in FID


• Responsible to maintain safety-Zero Accident, incident


• Responsible to prepare shift schedule, manpower utilization & 5S activities on shop floor at FID


• Have Knowledge of Internal Audits, Second party Audits, Third Party and NC closure


• Have Knowledge of product audits, process audits, layout Inspection


• Have knowledge of preparing Quality report, SAP production entry


• Responsible for display of WI, Control plan, SOPs, Skill matrix at FID


• Responsible to continuous monitoring of defect and coordinate with curing team


• Responsible to co-ordinate & understand the critical dispatch plan with warehouse team


• Responsible to communicate with HR, IR & Contractors for Manpower related issues


• Adherence to tire weight compliance & warehousing of tires


• Deploy himself on duties in FID area as per requirement


• Responsible to follow-up for sample & pilot run sizes with curing & warehouse team


• Responsible to involve in TPM,TQM,QCC,5S& Kaizen

KPIs:          

• Monitoring of Production- Plan Vs Actual and Maintain 5S on shop floor


• Safety- Zero accident, incident and check all Environmental Occupational Health & Safety related material, PPE


• Defect Monitoring and co-ordination with curing team


• Responsible to co-ordinate & understand the critical dispatch plan with warehouse/ supply chain team


• Responsible for Customer Complaint reduction & PDI Rejection reduction


• QCC Project & Kaizen submission

Staff reporting:   On Roll Associates deployed for FID activities 

Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field)

• Experience in Tire FID Area looking after Quality function activities.


• Type of Defects in tire


• Repair of OHT tire

Qualifications

• Diploma Engineer Experience


• Min 5 Yrs. work experience in Inspection & PDI activities
