Business Unit: Affinity | Work Location: Mumbai (Malad)

Type of Role: Individual Contributor.

Affinity is looking for an individual who has 2 - 6 years of experience working closely on the Indirect Tax which includes subject matter experts on GST, TDS, Audit and Compliance.

The Role:

• Maintaining Books of accounts.
• Working with internal business partners to define, implement, review and improve quality control, including identification of internal risks and solutions to mitigate them.
• Providing audit support and data analysis review processes.
• Providing support and advice to Tax colleagues as well as the Business and Accounting teams. Oversee the end-to-end litigation processes in relation to indirect taxes.
• Good analytical skills (i.e., ability to decipher problems and growth areas from reports.
• Expense management.
• Coordinate and manage the use of external advisors and counsel to support filing of responses/ submission of information to tax authorities.
• Preparation and Analysis of Debtors & Creditors ageing.
• Maintaining vendor’s bills, verification and payments.
• Handling statutory matters like TDS, GST etc. and returns thereof.
• Preparation of Bank & Cash reconciliation statements.
• Maintaining cordial relationships with banks, financial institutions, professional consultants, and clients.
• Interacting with statutory and internal auditors as per requirement.

• Excellent Knowledge of MS-Office.
• People with Attention to detail & deep knowledge.
• Data driven and individuals with a high level of ownership.
• Strategic solution-based problem-solving skills.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Proficient in usage of entire MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
• Persistence to follow up.
• Very strong English communication skills – written and spoken.
