Job Description - Associate - Desktop Support

Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
Hands on experience with windows/Linux/Mac OS environment
Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
Knowledge of network security practices and antivirus programs
Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
Excellent problem -solving and multitasking skills
Customer oriented attitude.
Should have any certifications in Hardware and Networking.
Minimum 3 -4 years of experience in similar role.
Connecting users to Active directory server, system configuration for particular user.
NVR/DVR and CCTV configuration.
Printer configuration.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in Laptop/Desktop.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure with a focus on networking technologies.
Proficiency in ticketing systems and IT services management tools
Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, STP)
Basics of Static and dynamic routing.
Physical install and connect firewalls and other security appliances.
Monitor firewall for up/down or issues, document, root cause analysis, reporting.
Configure remote access VPN
Configure firewall interfaces (LAN/WAN/DMZ) network configuration
Basic understanding on access rule and NAT rule
URL filtering and web filtering.
Configure firewall interface
Design, install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot audio -visual systems.
Install and integrate AV equipment, including projectors, display, video walls, speakers, microphones and control systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

Education - Diploma/ Degree.
