  Your work profile

    As a Senior Manager in our Global Business Tax Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

• Supervising and taking responsibility for all tax advisory engagements along with taking responsibility for delivery of tax opinions / short notes / email responses on day-to-day clients’ tax matters


• Supervising and taking responsibility for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax and other tax filings such as SFT etc.


• Supervising and taking responsibility for tax assessment / litigation proceedings before the assessing officer, other income tax authorities and higher appellate forums. This will include reviewing / drafting responses to audit notices & questionnaires, representation before the tax authorities for assessment, rectification, and other similar matters.


• Training managers and other executives for creating stronger bench and aid their professional development and SPOC responsibilities for end-to-end tax operate engagements


• Delivering clients with tax technology assets through licensing and / or internal managed services


• Internal client codes management from the standpoint of time logging, invoicing, and collections.


• Business development including identifying new opportunities and mining existing ones including actively identifying list of pursuits


• Contributing to firm eminence programs / events / written or speaking contributions at conferences etc.


• Focusing and aligning with firm’s core tax growth themes


• Contributing to thought leadership and other tax technical papers for firm wide. Go-to-market strategy Collaborating with other tax services lines / business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements.

Key skills required: 

• CA with 8-10 years’ Experience in Direct Taxation
