About the Role

Horizontal Talent is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Sales to lead strategic growth for our Domestic IT Contract Staffing business in India. This role will be responsible for driving enterprise client acquisition, expanding strategic accounts, leading cross -functional staffing teams, and scaling revenue growth across the region.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IT contingent staffing, strong industry relationships, and the ability to operate in a fast -paced, high -growth environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic business development and new client acquisition across enterprise accounts, GCCs, and MSP/VMS ecosystems.
  • Develop and expand long -term client partnerships while identifying opportunities for account growth.
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and staffing solution engagements with key stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with recruitment delivery and account management teams to ensure high -quality execution and fulfillment.
  • Oversee end -to -end contract staffing operations, including onboarding, compliance, contractor management, and delivery governance.
  • Build, mentor, and scale high -performing sales and staffing teams across multiple locations.
  • Drive operational excellence through process optimization, performance tracking, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with leadership, finance, HR, and operations teams to support business planning and expansion initiatives.
  • Own revenue growth, profitability, and business performance metrics for the assigned portfolio.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in Domestic IT Contract/Contingent Staffing.
  • Proven experience in enterprise client acquisition and IT staffing sales.
  • Strong understanding of India’s IT hiring landscape, staffing operations, and recruitment delivery models.
  • Experience managing large staffing accounts and leading recruitment or account management teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and manage strategic client relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with staffing firms, GCCs, or enterprise technology clients.
  • Exposure to MSP/VMS hiring models and contingent workforce programs.
  • Experience leading distributed or multi -location teams.
  • Strong business acumen with exposure to revenue ownership and operational management.
