## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n\"Primary responsibility of this role is NPI \u0026 SE Engineering of GEIS products that will penetrate the national and international markets. This position responsibilities entails the identification and execution of NPI and SE initiatives \nIt also requires to have strong communication skills, drive, strong engineering acumen with mfg process and CAD design package related to things and enthusiasm in the product design arena.\"\" \nEnsure product compliance to global design standards like IEC,UL,NEMA or any other compliance standard. \nHas the good understanding best design standard practices and design requirements \nSupport system / component sizing, designing , simulation and testing activities to meet power distribution and controls panel requirements \nModify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process\" \n\"\u2022 Work in multiple programs/projects related to NPI and SE to achieve the business goals and Profit Plan objectives. \n\u2022 Own end to end projects and deliverables including product conceptualization, detailing, design validation \u0026 testing of products. \n\u2022 Work in a cross functional/ multi-disciplinary team in making technology/ engineering decisions required for project execution. \n\u2022 Designs, validates and releases system, sub-system and components independently as well as through team of engineers. Creates CAD drawings- detailing, 3D models, Assemblies etc. and ensure release in PLM / ERP system per project plan. \n\u2022 Contribute to create test plans in accordance with IEC/UL standards. Create test object requirements, plan for assembly and finalize test parameters \u0026 instrumentation. Responsible for conducting tests by ensuring deployment of standard practices. \n\u2022 Contribute with leads to Create Intellectual Property documents (IPs) around new product design concepts / ideas.\" \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBE / M.tech - Mechanical Engineering \n0-3 yrs. Product Design \n \n\n\n## Skills:\n\n\"1. have a good technical knowledge and experience in design and development of Mechanical products like sheet metal products (preferred), cast/machined products, plastic products and relevant desing practices and standards. \n2\\. Experience hands on experience in creating part detailing and designing, drawing creation, 3D modeling of parts/assemblies and 2D dimensioning and tolerance of parts, prototyping and validation \n3.Analytical skills must include design/ selection, stresses, fatigue life, component fits and establishing efficient/ergonomic methods of assembly, Design calculations. \n4\\. Should be aware with GD\u0026T, DFMEA, DFMA. \n5\\. Should have good knowledge on different product design tools environment like CAD, Solid works, SAP. \n6.Understanding of GEIS Industrial products would be an added advantage \nCommunication skills, Accountability, Innovation\" \nTeam player, Good communication skills, Ability to work in global and virtual environment\n
