Position Summary
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining and governing the organization's technology strategy, architecture standards, and roadmap to ensure alignment between business objectives and IT capabilities. This role provides strategic architectural leadership, drives technology transformation initiatives, and ensures enterprise solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, principles, and governance processes.
- Define current-state and target-state architecture roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure alignment between business strategy, applications, data, infrastructure, and security architectures.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide recommendations for technology investments.
Solution Design & Technology Leadership
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns.
- Guide the design of enterprise-wide solutions across cloud, applications, data, integration, and infrastructure domains.
- Define architectural standards, reference architectures, and reusable design patterns.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, reliability, performance, and security requirements.
Governance & Risk Management
- Establish architecture governance processes and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Support technology modernization, rationalization, and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business executives and technology leaders to translate business requirements into architectural solutions.
- Work closely with project managers, solution architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to architecture and engineering teams.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Recommend innovation initiatives that improve business capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Drive adoption of modern architectural approaches such as cloud-native, microservices, APIs, AI/ML, and automation where appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, infrastructure, or solution architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise, solution, or technical architecture roles.
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation and enterprise technology initiatives.
