Associate -Financial Advisory Services

• Create credible, flexible,
  transparent financial models for periodic valuations for alternative investment
  firms. This includes developing models from scratch and running sensitivities
  and scenarios.
  
• Building long -term client
  relationships through exceptional client service includes a deep understanding
  of the client and their needs, exceptional responsiveness, and the delivery of
  the highest quality service and work product
  
• Take a lead on implementing valuation approaches for new
  asset types and complex valuations.
  
• Extract relevant data from information
  memorandum, facility agreements, or rating agency reports as required by clients
  or for modelling purposes.
  
• Independently gathering data related
  to the investments/models. Analyze the historical portfolio performance data,
  identify market benchmarks and gather insights to run the valuations.
  
• Ensuring compliance with relevant
  accounting standards (eg IFRS 13/ ASC 820) and regulatory. Continuously monitor
  and implement relevant regulatory developments impacting valuation
  methodologies and reporting.
  
• Present the valuation outputs
  (either on Excel or set -up on Oxane’s valuation platform) to clients, investors
  and auditors on calls. Provide audit support by independently addressing audit
  queries and participating in audit calls, ensuring timely and accurate
  responses.
  
• Assist in the development and enhancement of
  valuation policies, procedures, and controls.
  
• Assist in the preparation of investment summaries and credit memos.
  
• Mentor junior team members, conduct technical
  training, and oversee smaller teams to ensure timely project completion.
  

Requirements

• CFA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Minimum of 4 -7 years of relevant valuation -related
  work experience in financial services firm, Investment banking, valuations
  firms
  
• High level of proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel; ability to write VBA/python code is a plus
  
• Good understanding of financial statements, prepayments,
  defaults, fixed income instruments and various capital structures.
  
• Demonstrated
  verbal and written communication skills, comfortable speaking with senior
  management and in front of an audience
  
• Good attention to detail and a logical thought process to analyse qualitative and quantitative data
  
• Strong analytical and problem -solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as help
  the team to ensure timely project completion.
