Job Description - Associate - Fundraising & Strategic Partnerships

We are hiring for EMpower The Emerging Markets Foundation- a global philanthropic organisation working to transform the lives of marginalised youth in emerging markets.
Location: Delhi, India (Asia regional support role)
Type: Full-time
Role Overview:

The Development Assistant Asia will play a vital operations and coordination role in supporting EMpowers fundraising efforts across India, Hong Kong, and Singapore. This position supports donor stewardship, fundraising systems, finance and compliance administration, and event execution. It is ideal for early-career professionals looking to gain meaningful experience in international development and philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage donor records and donation tracking using Salesforce.
2. Coordinate donor events and engagement activities.
3. Support budgeting, financial record-keeping, and audit documentation.
4. Liaise with vendors, banks, accountants, and regional stakeholders.
5. Draft donor communications, reports, and marketing materials.
6. Coordinate meeting logistics and support internal documentation processes.

Requirements:

1. 1-2 years of experience in office administration, fundraising, or nonprofit operations.
2. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across time zones.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce is an advantage.
5. A self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow.
6. Interest in youth development and global philanthropy.
