Associate Manager - Route Revenue

Job Purpose

• Route Revenue Analysts will be assigned a set of markets (for example, Delhi to Bangalore) and will be responsible for achieving revenue and profitability targets for those markets.


• This is a highly critical role that requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, diligence, and a high sense of accountability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maximize the profitability of all flights across assigned markets by optimizing load factors (seats sold) and yields (fares) as appropriate.


• Utilize inputs such as competitor pricing, network strengths (flight timings, connectivity, etc.), seasonality trends, and demand forecasts to effectively manage inventory on assigned flights.


• Collaborate with the Sales team to gather market feedback and adjust pricing strategies based on demand patterns.


• Analyze booking performance across various channels and products to ensure an optimal revenue mix for assigned markets.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in analytical disciplines such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.


• MBA in any specialization, including Aviation Management, will be an added advantage.

Work Experience

• Prior 2 years of experience in analytics-focused roles or positions involving revenue management responsibilities is preferred.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Data Analysis.


• Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets.
