Associate Market Research Analyst

Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Market Research Analyst to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will support Stantec’s growth by contributing to market intelligence on our markets, clients, and competitors, helping translate data and trends into meaningful insights that inform business decisions.

You will work as part of a globally integrated team, applying a structured research approach and collaborating closely with business partners and internal teams across regions and disciplines to deliver consistent, high-impact market research and intelligence. You will be joining our India-based team members who work seamlessly across Stantec to lead our efficient, smart project delivery, producing research at scale that is attuned to local industry dynamics.

Your Key Responsibilities

For the programs that you are engaged with: 

• Support the delivery of market research and intelligence, including analysis of clients, competitors, markets, and pursuits


• Translate data into clear insights through reports, presentations, and program deliverables, with guidance as needed


• Contribute to a range of market research activities, including market sizing, trend analysis, profiling, and research-led insight generation


• Collect, cleanse, and organize data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness


• Build working relationships within and outside of the team to develop business understanding and support project needs


• Monitor and share updates on market, client, and competitor trends


• Support company-wide planning activities and research inputs


• Use and support adoption of tools, systems, and market research best practices


• Deliver high-quality outputs with attention to consistency, accuracy, and timelines


• Apply structured approaches to research, including scoping, review, and basic data visualization


• Contribute to integrating insights into deliverables and supporting broader Market Planning & Intelligence initiatives


• Communicate and collaborate with global teams, including regular interaction across time zones during overlapping working hours

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (e.g. Business, Management, Economics, Political Studies, Library & Information Science or related area)


• Zero-to-two years of experience in market analysis field

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Copilot)


• Foundational knowledge of PowerBI for data visualization and report development


• Exposure to AI-enabled research tools, including basic prompt development or usage


• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and Planner for collaboration and workflow support

Education and Experience
