Metalegal Advocates is seeking a senior Associate Partner | Corporate Law (8 -10 years PQE) for its Bengaluru office to strengthen its Corporate Advisory vertical. This leadership -facing role involves independent handling of corporate clients, founders, and growth -stage businesses, with direct exposure to high -value transactions, strategic advisory mandates, and practice development initiatives. The position is designed for professionals with strong commercial orientation, client ownership capability, and long -term leadership potential within the Firm.
Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic corporate law advisory to corporates, founders, startups, and high -growth businesses
• Advise on company law, corporate governance, shareholder matters, board advisory, and compliance frameworks
• Lead corporate transactions, restructurings, and commercial advisory mandates
• Act as primary relationship manager for corporate clients and startup founders
• Oversee drafting and review of contracts, shareholder agreements, investment documentation, board papers, policies, and legal opinions
• Mentor, train, and supervise associates and junior team members
• Drive business development initiatives, client acquisition, and retention strategies
• Collaborate with internal practice groups on cross -functional matters
Requirements
Eligibility & Experience
• 8 -10 years of Post -Qualification Experience (PQE) in Corporate Law, post -LLB qualification
• Proven track record in corporate advisory and client -facing roles (mandatory)
• Prior exposure to the startup ecosystem and founder advisory preferred
• Demonstrated capability to independently manage complex client portfolios
