Role & Responsibilities

• Lead clinical consultations, prenatal/postnatal care, and high-risk pregnancy management for diverse patient demographics across outpatient and inpatient settings.


• Perform complex gynecological surgeries including laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and oncological procedures with adherence to safety and outcome benchmarks.


• Supervise residents, junior faculty, and nursing staff — providing real-time clinical mentorship and evaluating performance against hospital protocols.


• Collaborate with radiology, pathology, and neonatology departments to ensure coordinated, multi-disciplinary patient care pathways.


• Drive quality initiatives — audit clinical outcomes, reduce infection rates, and implement national guidelines (like FOGSI, NHP) into daily practice.


• Contribute to research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in CMEs and grand rounds to maintain cutting-edge clinical relevance.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

• DNB/MD/DM in Obstetrics & Gynecology


• Laparoscopy certification


• Hysteroscopy certification


• High-risk pregnancy management


• Operative gynecology


• FOGSI guidelines


• NHP compliance


• MRCOG (if applicable)

Preferred

• Experience in teaching hospitals or medical colleges


• Publications in Indian Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology


• Membership in AOGD or FOGSI
