In this position, you will :

• Perform Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for nVent firmware and software products.
• Review requirements, create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases for embedded firmware features.
• Execute manual and automated test suites across functional, regression, integration, performance, and system testing.
• Validate communication protocols such as REDFISH, Modbus, Ethernet, Email, Syslog, and other product-specific features.
• Perform Build Acceptance Testing (BAT), feature validation, and release readiness checks.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause verification, and collaborate with development teams to drive resolution.
• Validate hardware-firmware interactions with sensors, peripherals, and system components.
• Use lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools during testing.
• Maintain test coverage metrics, update documentation, and support continuous test improvements.
• Work within Agile methodologies for sprints, planning, and backlog grooming.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Firmware Testing / V&V / QA for embedded systems.
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals, test design techniques, and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in Python, automation frameworks, or scripting.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
