Purpose of the Job:

The role's main purpose is to handle the technical aspects of patent
applications. The role may require directly interfacing with the inventor(s) to
capture novel aspects of the invention. Further, the role may require searching
capability and delivering patentability search reports. The role also entails
team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Understanding
  technical disclosures across different technical domains.
  
•  Identification
  of key/novel features from technical disclosures.
  
•  Conducting
  patentability search to determine close prior arts.
  
•  Support
  in freedom -to -operate (FTO), invalidity, and patent landscape studies.
  
•  Working
  on different patent databases, in addition, to performing searches on Google, Google
  Scholar, Google patents, IEEE, ACM, Espacenet, and  Freepatentsonline Orbit,
  Patseer, etc. Knowledge of patent classification.
  
• Preparation
  of reports for delivery.
  
• To
  handle any other reasonable task as specified by management
  

Requirements

• B -tech
  in CSE, ECE or another related domain.
  
• Exposure
  to FTO/Validity/Invalidity Searches.
  
• Strong
  knowledge of patent search methodologies.
  
• Excellent
  written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with clients and
  teams.
  
• Proficiency
  in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  
• Ability
  to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive results.
