Role Overview

We are looking for an Associate / Senior Associate – VC Fund to support thesis building, due diligence, deal initiation and closure, and portfolio management.

The role requires strong analytical and research capabilities, curiosity about emerging technologies, and the ability to engage with founders and market participants.

Key Responsibilities

  Conduct detailed research on startups raising capital, including analysis of their technology, business models, financials and competitive positioning.

  Build investment theses and prepare high-quality research notes.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct in-depth industry and market research using domestic and global data sources.

  
  


• 
  

  Map industry value chains and identify key market participants.

  
  


• 
  

  Track early-stage deals, funding trends and transaction benchmarks.

  
  


• 
  

  Engage directly with founders for commercial and market diligence.

  
  


• 
  

  Work with legal counsel on deal structuring, documentation and closure.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain relationships with portfolio company leadership and provide ongoing support.

  
  


• 
  

  Track portfolio performance and prepare investment reports and updates.

  
  


• 
  

  Build and expand a network of industry participants across relevant sectors.

  
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  

  3–5 years of relevant experience in venture capital, investment banking, investing or the startup ecosystem.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong exposure to Deep Tech / technology-driven businesses.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong investment research and analytical capabilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to independently build investment theses and conduct due diligence.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of startup business models, markets and competitive landscapes.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent primary and secondary research skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and founder engagement abilities.

  
  


• 
  

  High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  
  


• 
  

  Self-driven, curious and comfortable working in a fast-paced investment environment.

  Passion for long-term investing.

  
  


• 
  

  CFA / postgraduate qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

  
  


• 
  

  Exit exposure is not mandatory.

  
  

Compensation

₹10–14 LPA + performance incentives, depending on experience and discussion.
