The Associate / Senior Process Associate – Operations role focuses on managing and resolving credit and debit card fraud and dispute claims in line with global card network guidelines. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding customers and financial institutions by investigating suspicious transactions, evaluating dispute claims, and ensuring accurate, compliant outcomes. The role demands strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and productivity standards within an international operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and process credit and debit card fraud or dispute claims in accordance with Visa, MasterCard, and other card network guidelines.
• Investigate transactions flagged as suspicious by evaluating transaction data such as timestamps, merchant details, locations, IP addresses, and usage patterns.
• Contact customers, when required, to gather additional information and validate disputed or potentially fraudulent transactions.
• Identify fraud and non-fraud disputes, raise chargeback requests, and ensure timely resolution with merchants.
• Maintain strict compliance with production, quality, and process safety standards while meeting daily productivity and accuracy targets.
• Perform routine process checks and audits to ensure adherence to operational guidelines and risk controls.
• Assist in troubleshooting process-related issues and contribute to improving operational efficiency.
• Develop a strong understanding of fraud detection tools, dispute workflows, and evolving card network regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and consistent service delivery.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 1–3 years of experience in international BPS or operations environments, particularly in card dispute management or fraud investigation.
• Hands-on exposure to chargebacks, fraud and non-fraud dispute resolution for credit and debit cards.
• Working knowledge of Visa, MasterCard, or similar card network dispute processes.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to assess transaction patterns critically.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with internal teams and customers.
• A positive attitude, strong teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Graduate or Postgraduate qualification in any discipline, with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
