Associate, Servicing Transaction Mgmt

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Forward STM manages the Loan Boarding, De-Boarding & Correspondence process. Duties will include liaising with Prior Servicers and Business Units to ensure smooth boarding of files into the MSP system. This role is responsible to board prior servicer loan files into the MSP system, post boarding corrections, coordinating with clients, servicers or Investor to resolve queries identified during the loan boarding process, and engaging to ad hoc task as required

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle all the assigned day-to-day boarding files from different clients

• Extend support to team as and when required to complete the boarding files in line with the manager’s direction

• Effectiveness on follow-ups with prior servicer and business units

• Apply critical thinking and sound judgment, beyond merely following instructions

• Proactively ask questions to ensure accuracy and effectiveness

• Exhibit confidence in communication and decision-making

• Be open to work on the ad-hoc task/projects as required

• Monitor the mailboxes to ensure all email communications are being handled timely and appropriately 

• Be self-driven, should be able to perform under high pressure

• Timely responses to servicers, stake holders, business units and boarding loan files are key priorities

• Willing to work extra hours as per the process requirements/Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of fifteen years of education

• Minimum 02 years of experience required in mortgage servicing or origination

• Should have knowledge on mortgage documents like Note, 1003, Appraisal etc.

• Should have sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel to handle data files

• Should have good communication skills both verbal and written

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail and accuracy

• Aggressive follow up skill is must
