Job Description:

As a member of the Corporate Technology Support - Workstation Vulnerability Remediation team, the Associate Systems Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day operational support with the timely rollout of security patches and ensuring full compliance. The role will focus on automation efforts and vulnerability remediation within a Windows environment. This position will primarily support U.S. business hours and requires coordination with cross-functional teams to improve processes, implement automation, handle exceptions with cybersecurity, and support project-based work.

Essential Functions:

• Create software packages using BigFix and SCCM.

• Follow and implement best practice methodologies for monthly OS patching and third-party software vulnerability remediation.

• Design and implement automated solutions that reduce costs, promote standardization, and increase efficiency.

• Drive innovation and global collaboration with Operations partners to minimize redundant tasks and improve overall efficiency.

• Evaluate and improve support processes and methodologies based on operational requirements.

• Manage, triage, and drive resolution of operations escalations with a proactive approach to reduce future incidents.

• Serve as the point of contact for Exception Management and related requests.

• Provide support during U.S. business hours and be available during weekends for emergencies when necessary.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree OR 2- 4 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate level: 2- 4 years of professional experience.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong technical expertise in Windows OS.

• Hands-on experience with software packaging tools such as BigFix and SCCM.

• Hands -on experience with PowerShell scripting.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of innovation and reliable execution.

• Proven track record of driving technical initiatives and identifying opportunities to enhance end-user technology.

• Solid background in compute infrastructure and deployment/release processes.

• Familiarity with workstation deployment and configuration in secure environments is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience working in shift-based, globally distributed teams is preferred.

• Hands-on experience developing and automating solutions for the Windows platform.

• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools such as Qualys, Fortify, AppScan, or similar.
