Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned music industry leader to join us. This role is strictly for candidates with deep and proven experience in the music business.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for end-to-end content vision, catalogue expansion, creative direction, and commercial performance. You will architect the company’s content strategy while ensuring disciplined execution and monetisation.

This role is fully accountable for content-led P&L performance.

Key Responsibilities1. Content Strategy & Catalogue Building

·     Define a long-term content strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives

·     Lead large-scale catalogue expansion with commercial discipline

·     Identify high-potential artists, genres, and content opportunities

·     Build scalable frameworks for content acquisition and development

·     Ensure creative excellence while maintaining cost efficiency

2. P&L Ownership & Revenue Growth

·     Own content-driven revenue targets and profitability metrics

·     Optimise ROI on content investments

·     Align content strategy with digital monetisation models

·     Work closely with marketing, distribution, and finance to drive revenue growth

·     Continuously refine investment allocation based on performance data

3. Creative & Commercial Leadership

·     Lead senior content and marketing leaders with clarity and accountability

·     Establish strong relationships with artists, producers, and strategic partners

·     Oversee release planning, content calendars, and promotional alignment

·     Ensure content quality, brand alignment, and long-term IP value creation

4. Industry Positioning & Partnerships

·     Represent the company in high-level artist and industry negotiations

·     Build strategic alliances within the music and entertainment ecosystem

·     Identify acquisition or partnership opportunities to accelerate catalogue growth

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

·     18+ years of experience in the music or entertainment industry

·     Proven leadership experience at a senior level in a music label, media company, or content platform

·     Demonstrated track record of building and monetising music catalogues

·     Strong understanding of digital platforms, streaming economics, and music monetisation

·     Experience handling content-driven P&L responsibilities

Extensive leadership experience within a music label, music distribution company, or music-focused entertainment platform is mandatory. Candidates without substantial music industry experience will not be considered.
