As an Associate at WSP you will lead and manage the Waste Water Modelling Team having to manage a sizeable Team of Drainage Engineers.
You will be working closely with UK business and with Team Leader – Waste Water Modelling in order to help out in resourcing needs and commercial side of the Projects. You will report to the Team Leader for Asset Consultancy.
You will also be responsible for Technical assurance, winning work, manage and control Projects and Project budgets and helping out on recruitments. Additionally, you will work with the Principal Engineers on Team’s skill development and KPI’s.
You will be overseeing engineering design work and ensuring compliance with best practices and UK regulations.

Manage the Projects and processes to ensure the preparation and checking of documents, reports and other technical outputs as per QA.
Lead to prepare design solutions and develop methodologies, technical reports for various design stages for drainage projects.
Identify further Technical skills that could be brought into the GCC to deliver additional services or enhancements to various businesses.
Ensure process and governance such that all projects comply with Health and Safety, CDM and Quality Assurance Standards.
Undertake the Principal Designer Role in large size schemes.
Must undertake continuous professional development.
Carry out audits of adherence to WSP Management and Quality processes and implement corrective measures where required.
Actively promote the UK GCC culture within the team and ensure that the staff deliver on promises.
Mentoring team members towards professional accreditation or equivalent.
Assist in recruitment to achieve budgeted and programmed team growth.
Ensuring that the Business Management System is implemented and maintained.
