Job Description - Asst. Manager - Procurement - Construction


Procurement Executive helps a procurement professional to ensure that a business has a constant supply of materials or equipment. They work primarily in an administrative capacity, doing tasks such as scheduling material purchases and deliveries and verifying current inventory.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

·       Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs

·       Research potential vendors

·       Track orders and ensure timely delivery

·       Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)

·       Conduct market research to identify pricing trends

·       Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices

·       Prepare cost analysis

·       Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts

·       Looking after Purchase & Raw Materials Invoice, stock accounting. 

·       Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders

·       Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

·       Good understanding of supply chain procedures

·       To maintain efficient filing systems and handling courier services. 

·       Maintain Purchase order and Bills Book.

·       Create PO in ERP

·       Get necessary approvals for the market purchasing rate.

·       Release Orders.

·       Sending RFQ’s (Request for Quotation) to vendors.

·       Raising Purchase Orders as per negotiation.

·       Follow ups for Goods Receipt Note. 

·       Invoice Process and Verification through 2way & 3way method. 

·       Procure to Payment complete Process. 

·       Coordinating with Site Engineers regarding dispatch of materials to various sites. 

·       Maintaining of material list (Inwards & Outwards) and supervising Material movements to projects.

·       Preparing Delivery challan According to Material Dispatch. 

·       Prepare a MIS report and submit to Higher Authority. 

·       Follow up for delivery of material with supplier all supply documents Like test certificates, warranty certificate, product catalogues & Manual.






Requirements

Good to Have:

·       Hands-on experience with ERP software. 

·       Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

·       Knowledge of market research.

·       Solid organizational skills.

·       Construction industry experience will be an added advantage.

·       Good Analytical Skills.

 

 

The requirement:

1) Qualification             : Any Graduate / Diploma / B.E.

2) Experience                   : 5 to 8 years
