We are looking for a dynamic and detail -oriented Statutory Audit Executive to join our client’s reputed CA firm in Ahmedabad. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling statutory audit assignments for medium to large -sized organizations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards. The role offers excellent exposure to large -scale audits and direct interaction with clients and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, execute, and finalize statutory audit assignments independently and in coordination with seniors
  
• Handle audits of entities with turnover exceeding ₹500 Crore
  
• Review and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements
  
• Identify audit risks and perform risk -based audit procedures
  
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, FEMA, and other relevant regulations
  
• Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and draft audit reports
  
• Coordinate with clients to obtain financial records and understand business processes
  
• Evaluate internal control systems and suggest practical improvements
  
• Assist partners and senior team members in audit assignments and client communication.
  
• Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining high audit quality standards
  

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Statutory Audit procedures and compliance framework
  
• Mandatory exposure to large -scale audits (₹500 Crore+ turnover entities)
  
• Working knowledge of:
  

• Taxation and GST
  
• Corporate Laws and FEMA
  
• Risk -based audit methodology
  

• Good understanding of financial reporting and analysis
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/accounting software
  
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
