Job Description
· Lead the development and deployment of AI and GenAI solutions including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning, AI agents, and multi-agent systems (MAS), with solutions operationalized through Palantir Foundry workflows, applications, and ontologies.
· Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines in Palantir Foundry to support AI, econometric, and machine learning models, including:
· Transforms on structured (tabular) and unstructured datasets · Production-grade pipelines feeding mission-critical analytics and decision workflows
· Performance optimization, logic refactoring, and operational support for existing pipelines · Leverage Spark / PySpark, Python, and SQL within Foundry to perform large-scale distributed data processing, transformation, feature engineering, and integration across diverse internal and external data sources.
· Design and implement Foundry ontologies, providing data engineering and modeling context during ontology design, and building pipelines that back ontology objects and links based on analytical, application, and business requirements.
· Configure and manage data connections and ingestion workflows in Foundry, including setting up sources and syncs to ingest tabular data and raw files from external systems, while ensuring data quality, integrity, lineage, and security across the data lifecycle.
· Apply econometric and statistical modeling techniques such as generalized linear models (GLMs), time-series analysis, and semi-parametric models, integrating model outputs directly into Foundry-powered applications and workflows.
· Develop and deploy machine learning models including XGBoost, random forests, and support vector machines, ensuring models are productionized, monitored, and governed within Foundry and adjacent MLOps tooling.
· Ensure compliance with model risk management, AI governance, and regulatory standards including SR 11-7, Colorado SB21-169, NIST frameworks, ISO 42001, and NAIC Model Bulletins throughout model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in Foundry pipelines and workflows, contributing to logic enhancements, performance improvements, and platform reliability for business-critical use cases.
· Apply DevOps and MLOps best practices including Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, infrastructure-as-code, and system monitoring, working closely with platform, cloud, and data engineering teams.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and data scientists to translate business and risk requirements into scalable Foundry-based analytics, AI solutions, and decision-support tools.
· Lead documentation of architecture, data pipelines, ontologies, and modeling approaches, supporting auditors, validators, regulators, and long-term operational sustainability; clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Manage and mentor associates and senior associates, providing coaching, technical oversight, and hands-on guidance across AI modeling, Palantir Foundry development, and client delivery.
· Engage directly with clients, leading technical workstreams, shaping solution architectures, and improving business processes, workflows, and decision-making using Foundry-enabled analytics and AI.
· Drive business development efforts, including supporting technical sales cycles, contributing to proposal development, and articulating Palantir-enabled AI and analytics solutions to client stakeholders.
· Lead the development of internal AI, GenAI, and data platform assets, leveraging Palantir Foundry to build reusable pipelines, ontologies, and foundational capabilities that scale the firm’s risk modeling and AI practice.
