Role: ATL/STEM Facilitator
Role Overview:
The ATL/STEM Facilitator will be responsible for fostering innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning among students through STEM-based activities, ATL projects, robotics, coding, tinkering, and design thinking initiatives. The facilitator will manage the ATL Lab, conduct engaging sessions, mentor students for competitions, and promote experiential learning aligned with NEP and CBSE guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Academic & Student Engagement
Conduct ATL/STEM sessions for students across grades in an interactive and experiential manner.
Facilitate activities related to Robotics, Coding, AI, IoT, Electronics, 3D Printing, Design Thinking, and Innovation.
Encourage inquiry-based and project-based learning methodologies.
Mentor students for ATL Marathon, STEM exhibitions, hackathons, science fairs, and inter-school competitions.
Support students in ideation, prototyping, and problem-solving projects.
ATL Lab Management
Manage and maintain ATL/STEM lab equipment, tools, and inventory.
Ensure safety protocols and proper usage of lab resources.
Coordinate procurement requirements and maintain records of consumables and assets.
Keep the ATL Lab organized, functional, and innovation-friendly.
Curriculum Integration
Collaborate with subject teachers to integrate STEM concepts into classroom learning.
Develop activity plans, lesson modules, and innovation challenges aligned with curriculum objectives.
Support implementation of experiential learning practices as per CBSE guidelines.
Events & Outreach
Organize STEM-related workshops, innovation drives, exhibitions, and community outreach programmes.
Coordinate guest sessions, industry interactions, and expert talks.
Promote student participation in national and international STEM initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of student projects, participation, achievements, and ATL activities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for school leadership and ATL compliance requirements.
Manage ATL-related social media/content updates in coordination with the school communications team.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of STEM education and experiential learning methodologies.
Working knowledge of Robotics, Coding platforms, Arduino, AI tools, and emerging technologies.
Excellent communication and student mentoring skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Ability to manage projects and events effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, Education, or related field.
Certification/training in Robotics, Coding, STEM, or ATL programmes preferred.
Prior experience in ATL/STEM facilitation in a school setup will be an advantage.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in STEM education, ATL Labs, Robotics, or Innovation programmes preferred.
