Job Title: Audio Engineer – Tamil Content

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Audio Engineer with expertise in Tamil content to manage end-to-end audio production for fiction and non-fiction formats. The role involves recording, editing, mixing, and mastering high-quality audio that enhances storytelling and meets broadcast/OTT standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end audio production for Tamil content (TV shows, OTT, promos, digital content)


• Record, edit, mix, and master audio including dialogues, background score, and effects


• Ensure clarity, sync, and overall sound quality across deliverables


• Collaborate with directors, editors, and creative teams to achieve the desired audio output


• Manage dubbing sessions and ensure high-quality voice recordings in Tamil


• Work on sound design elements to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement


• Ensure all audio outputs meet technical specifications for broadcast and digital platforms


• Troubleshoot audio issues and maintain studio equipment

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or related field


• 3–7 years of experience in audio engineering for TV, films, OTT, or digital content


• Strong experience working with Tamil audio content and dubbing workflows


• Prior experience in post-production studios or broadcast environments preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in industry-standard tools (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, etc.)


• Strong understanding of sound mixing, mastering, and audio post-production workflows


• Excellent ear for detail, sound quality, and tonal balance


• Familiarity with Tamil language nuances for dialogue clarity and authenticity


• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience in surround sound / OTT audio formats


• Knowledge of Foley and advanced sound design


• Exposure to live recording or multi-track production
