As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to address questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding software systems and applications.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n\nSkills/experience: \n\nAround 1 to 3 yrs of experience.\n\n * Priority 1 is Audio Development Exp. Audio HAL, Audio DSP, Codecs.\n\n * Strong in C programming, OS concepts, Data Structures, Computer Architecture and Problem analysis skills.\n\n * In depth Knowledge in Linux Kernel, FreeRTOS or Embedded RTOS\n\n * Very good exposure to Embedded systems \u0026 Real Time Operating systems concepts.\n\n * Good exposure on processor architecture (ARM preferred), Interrupts, GPIOs, Clocks,.. etc.\n\n * Experience in using debugging tools like Lauterbach and Trace tools.\n\n * Ability to analyze, triage and debug complex system level problems and issues.\n\n * Good Problem solving \u0026 analysis skills; Good communication and enthusiasm to learn.\n\n * Embedded Core driver working experience if possible.\n\n * Ability to learn and work together in a team.
