Job Description - Audio Visual Sales Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 1500000 (ie INR 8-15 LPA)

Min Experience: 7 years

Location: delhi, mumbai, Bangalore

JobType: full-time

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager – Audio Visual (AV) & System Integration to lead public sector and government business development initiatives. This is a hands-on, target-driven role focused on identifying, qualifying, and converting opportunities across central and state departments, PSUs, educational institutions, and other government bodies. You will manage the complete sales lifecycle — from tracking tenders and attending pre-bid meetings to submitting compliant proposals and securing contracts. The role requires strong expertise in AV, IT, and ELV system integration sales, along with a solid understanding of government procurement processes and tendering compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify government and public sector sales opportunities through meetings and market engagement.
  • Monitor tender portals and evaluate RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs for strategic and commercial fit.
  • Lead pre-bid meetings and coordinate technical and commercial inputs for compliant submissions.
  • Prepare accurate proposal documents, BOQs, and commercial schedules in coordination with engineering teams.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposal submission to negotiation, contract signing, and project handover.
  • Coordinate with legal and finance teams for contract terms, bank guarantees, performance bonds, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain organized tender records, bid documentation, and CRM pipeline updates.
  • Deliver monthly pipeline reports, forecasts, and achieve defined sales targets and KPIs.
  • Travel for client meetings, site surveys, inspections, and compliance follow-ups as required.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Strong experience in government/public sector sales within AV, IT, ELV, or system integration domains.
  • Proven track record in tender preparation, bid management, and procurement processes.
  • Strong written communication skills for compliant, structured proposal documentation.
  • Practical understanding of AV system architecture and integration discussions.
  • Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage contract discussions confidently.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical, procurement, and administrative stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and commercial pricing calculations.
  • Target-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines effectively.
  • Willingness to travel and manage on-ground engagement for government projects.
