Audit & Tax Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Tax and Audit Manager with at least 2 years of prior experience in a CA firm, specializing in direct tax. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, demonstrated experience in handling Income Tax audits, filing of Income Tax Returns, and the preparation of financial statements. Candidates with Tally software experience will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the direct tax compliance process, including Income Tax Returns filing and Tax Audits.
    
  
  
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of Income Tax and related statutory reports.
    
  
  
  • Liaise with clients and tax authorities for resolving tax-related matters.
    
  
  



• Audit:
  

  
  
  
  
  • Lead and manage tax audits, ensuring that audits are completed on time and to a high standard.
    
  
  
  • Supervise a team of junior auditors and accountants, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
    
  
  
  • Manage statutory audits and internal audits as per regulatory requirements.
    
  
  



• Financial Statements Preparation:
  

  
  
  
  
  • Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
    
  
  
  • Coordinate with clients and external auditors during the audit process.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the audit and tax team.
    
  
  
  • Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of work.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a CA firm, specializing in direct tax.
    
  
  
  • Prior experience in leading teams and managing audits and tax filing.
    
  
  
  • Proficient in preparation of financial statements.

  • Proficient in Tally software (preferred).
    
  
  
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Tax Laws and Income Tax compliance.
    
  
  
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
