Design, implement, and maintain authentication frameworks for enterprise applications using Central Directory Services. Lead the integration of Active Directory, Lightweight Directory Services, ADFS, and Azure AD into existing and new applications to ensure secure access management. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to establish best practices for application authentication and identity management. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating security vulnerabilities related to application authentication. Monitor and troubleshoot authentication issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure system availability and performance. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in application authentication and identity management. Document processes, system configurations, and architectural designs to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base. Provide technical training and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their understanding of directory services and authentication processes. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the authentication solutions meet business needs and compliance standards. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in application authentication or identity management. Strong understanding of directory services technologies, specifically Active Directory, LDAP, ADFS, and Azure AD. Proven experience with identity federation, Single Sign-On (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) implementations. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and architectures, particularly in relation to Azure services. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Self-driven and be able to work independently with minimal supervision Desired experience working in a regulated banking/financial environment.
