Job Description - Automation Engineer

Job Title: Automation Quality Engineer

Experience: 10+ Years

Job Description:

• Design, develop, execute, and analyze automation test scripts and test results

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Test CafÃ©, Mocha, and Chai

• Develop automated testing capabilities across multiple platforms, technologies, and cloud environments

• Work closely with stakeholders throughout the SDLC to ensure quality deliverables

• Perform API, microservices, database, and data warehouse testing

• Implement and manage CI/CD automation strategies using Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps

• Record test results, track defects, and coordinate bug fixes with development teams

• Create clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Understand and validate complex business logic and calculations

• Coordinate with program and development teams to meet quality and release timelines

Required Skills:

• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript for automation scripting

• Strong experience in Test CafÃ©, Mocha, and Chai frameworks

• Hands -on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps)

• Experience testing Operational, Relational, OLAP databases, and data warehouses

• Strong experience in API and Microservices testing

• Exposure to SQL databases

• Strong analytical and problem -solving skills

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to financial domain projects

• AWS Certification is an added advantage
