Purpose of this position / Position summary                                                                    

Purpose of this position is to implement Aumation conveyor belt in the production line to optimize the current processes by interlinking the machinerys to bring stability in In throughput also collaboration with the global and with local cross functional team to ensure standard process is executed.

Primary duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities

• An automation engineer designs, builds, tests, and maintains automated systems to make processes faster, safer, more consistent, and less dependent on manual work.

• Designs automated workflows, control logic, and system architecture.

• Writes and maintains code for PLCs, robots, test rigs, scripts, or automation software.

• Integrates sensors, actuators, controllers, databases, and UIs

• Connects machines, software, and IT/OT systems (e.g., MES, ERP, SCADA).

• Ensures different subsystems communicate reliably and securely.

• Creates test plans to verify that automated systems work as intended.

• Debugs issues, performs root-cause analysis, and documents test results.

• Proposes improvements and supports maintenance to reduce failures and bottlenecks

• Prepares Standard Work instruction, software documentation, and change logs.

• Trains operators, technicians, and other engineers on how to use and support systems.

• Uses data to identify waste and variation; proposes automation upgrades.

• Supports lean and digitalization initiatives (e.g., IoT, analytics).

      Timely completing the project and ensure track by Engineering Manager.
