Automation Test Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer
with strong hands -on experience across multiple automation frameworks and tools
such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, WebdriverIO, and Cypress. The ideal
candidate should also have expertise in API automation, spatial data testing
(GIS systems), and performance testing using JMeter.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise,
analytical thinking, and problem -solving skills to ensure high -quality delivery
across complex web, mobile, and spatial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design,
  develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright,
  Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
  
• Create,
  execute, and manage end -to -end test suites for web, mobile (iOS/Android),
  and API platforms.
  
• Develop
  API automation scripts using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or
  Playwright API testing modules.
  
• Perform
  spatial/GIS -based testing, validating geometry accuracy, coordinate
  precision, map rendering, tile loading, and geospatial API behavior.
  
• Collaborate
  with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,
  Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline).
  
• Conduct
  performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter or similar tools, and
  analyze system bottlenecks.
  
• Work
  closely with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria,
  identify edge cases, and maintain test coverage.
  
• Debug,
  troubleshoot, and provide detailed bug reports with reproducible steps and
  logs.
  
• Ensure
  all automation runs are tracked, monitored, and integrated with test
  management and reporting tools (e.g., Allure, TestRail, Zephyr).
  
• Participate
  in spatial data validation workflows, testing APIs and UIs that deal with
  maps, GeoJSON, and geospatial analytics.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong
  hands -on experience with at least two automation tools:
  
• Solid
  programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
  
• API
  testing expertise using Postman, RestAssured, or Playwright API modules.
  
• Experience
  with spatial/GIS testing (Mapbox, Cesium, MapTiler, OpenLayers, or
  Leaflet) including coordinate validations and spatial API checks.
  
• Knowledge
  of performance/load testing using JMeter or Locust.
  
• Experience
  in CI/CD environments and familiarity with tools like Bitrise, GitHub
  Actions, or Jenkins.
  
• Understanding
  of testing frameworks and patterns (BDD, Page Object Model, Data -driven
  testing).
  
• Exposure
  to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for distributed testing.
  
• Familiarity
  with mobile automation and real -device cloud services (BrowserStack, Sauce
  Labs, AWS Device Farm).
  

Good to Have

• Knowledge
  of GIS databases (PostGIS, MongoDB with GeoJSON, or spatial APIs).
  
• Experience
  in testing AR/VR or 3D spatial experiences.
  
• Working
  knowledge of Dockerized test execution and Kubernetes environments.
  
• Experience
  in test strategy planning and automation coverage reporting.
  
• Familiarity
  with security testing basics for APIs and web apps.
