Automation Testing Engineer

Roles and Responsibility

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs using various tools and technologies.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
  
• Analyze and report defects found during testing.
  
• Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to process improvements.
  
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in API automation testing.
  

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of API automation testing principles and practices.
  
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies.
  
• Understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  

Qualifications:

⦁B.Tech/B.E./MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

⦁2–4 years’ experience in functional testing or QA roles, ideally in BFSI, analytics, or AI product environments.

⦁Familiarity with testing AI/ML systems, APIs, or data-driven applications; knowledge of Python is a plus.

⦁Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail), bug tracking, and automation frameworks.

⦁Analytical thinker with high attention to detail, strong documentation, and clear communication skills.

⦁Working understanding of banking workflows, compliance requirements, and Agile best practices is an advantage.
