Role: AWS Lead

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled AWS lead. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the AWS environment at Head Digital Works

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

2. Understanding of AWS Services: You must know key AWS services like EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, lambdas, RDS, Control Tower, WAF, and API Gateway. Know how to deploy and manage applications on these platforms.

3. Experience with Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with cloud services beyond AWS, such as Azure or Google Cloud, is beneficial. Shows you can adapt to various cloud environments.

4. Proficiency in Coding: Be skilled in at least one programming language like Python, Java, or Ruby. Cloud engineers need to write scripts to automate tasks.

5. Knowledge of Linux/Unix Administration: Many AWS deployments run on Linux servers. Understanding how to manage these systems is crucial.

6. Networking Skills: Understand networking fundamentals including DNS, NFS TCP/IP, HTTP, and CDN technologies. Networking is key to setting up efficient cloud systems.

7. Database Management: Know how to work with database services like Amazon RDS or DynamoDB. Managing data is a big part of most cloud projects.

8. Security Practices: Be aware of security protocols for cloud computing. Protecting data and applications from threats is a major concern for businesses.

9. DevOps Experience: Familiarity with DevOps practices can be a plus. It shows you can help streamline development and operations tasks.

10. Troubleshooting Skills: Solving problems quickly when things don’t go as planned is essential for minimizing downtime.

11. Certifications from AWS: Holding certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer shows your commitment and expertise in the field.

2. Monitor system activity and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation.

3. Implement security measures to protect data and maintain compliance with industry standards.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable cloud solutions.

5. Develop automation scripts to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

6. Stay updated with the latest AWS services and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
