Azure DevOps Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Develop infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
• Implement and manage Azure-based infrastructure and services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize Azure cloud usage.
• Automate routine tasks through scripting and automation.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained.
• Manage and configure Azure networking components.
• Participate in planning and executing disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams.
• Document infrastructure and processes as part of knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with Azure services and industry best practices.
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Microsoft Azure (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400).
• 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of Azure networking and security best practices.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in Azure environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
