We’re seeking a skilled Backend Engineer who is passionate about designing scalable APIs, deploying secure backend systems, and building robust DevOps pipelines. Key Responsibilities

Backend Development & API Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs using Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to deploy Python-based deep learning models via RESTful APIs.
• Implement secure API access protocols such as JWT and OAuth.
• Manage and optimize SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage backend services using AWS components like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to manage deployments.

Performance Optimization & Monitoring

• Monitor system health and performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Enhance system efficiency with caching solutions like Redis or Memcached and effective load balancing.
• Set up centralized logging and error tracking using tools like ELK Stack, Datadog, or Sentry.
• Maintain secure and reliable infrastructure with well-defined IAM roles, VPC setups, and access policies.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python with experience using Django and DRF.
• Deep expertise in AWS services, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data security best practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and monitoring stacks.
• Bonus: Experience with deploying AI/ML models using tools like TorchServe or TensorFlow Serving.
