We’re looking for an experienced Backend Engineer who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges, building high-performance systems, and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and scaling robust backend services that power our core applications and infrastructure.
What You'll Do
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable backend services using Python or Golang.
Develop APIs and microservices that serve critical product features and integrate seamlessly with frontend and platform teams.
Take ownership of new initiatives — from requirement analysis and system design to deployment and monitoring.
Drive system performance improvements with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance, and low-latency responses.
Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, AI/ML teams, and DevOps to ensure cohesive end-to-end solutions.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality and engineering standards.
Monitor and manage backend infrastructure using AWS or GCP, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
What We're Looking For
4–6 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining backend systems in Python or Golang.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented design.
Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases — such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure automation.
Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD tools for building, testing, and deploying services.
Deep understanding of system-level challenges in distributed applications — including concurrency, performance tuning, and debugging.
Passion for clean code, technical excellence, and robust testing.
Nice to Have
Exposure to event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
Experience in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Prior experience in fast-paced startup or product-driven environments.
