Job Description - Backend - Node JS Developer

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform

Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards

Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products

Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Node.js and related technologies.

Lead, collaborate with, and support the team to ensure successful delivery of objectives.

Take ownership of team\-level decisions and provide technical direction.

Partner with cross\-functional teams and actively contribute to critical technical and architectural decisions.

Design and deliver effective solutions for complex issues impacting the immediate team and broader organization.

Mentor and guide junior team members to strengthen their technical capabilities and overall performance.

Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, resolve challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must\-Have Skills:

Strong proficiency in Node.js.

Good\-to\-Have Skills:

Experience with Express.js, MongoDB, and RESTful API development.

Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event\-driven architecture.

Hands\-on experience with version control systems, especially Git.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and management.

Additional Information

Minimum of 7.5 years of hands\-on experience in Node.js development.

This role is based in our Hyderabad office.
