Backend Rust Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and web applications

• Analyse and maintain existing software applications

• Design highly scalable, testable code

• Discover and fix programming bugs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.

• 5+ Years of experience in Distributed Systems.

• Development experience with Rust.

• Experience with low systems level programming is desirable.

• Experience building databases in rust is desirable.

• Experience with Apache arrow datafusion is highly desirable.

• SQL database or relational database skills.

• Experience with cloud and Kubernetes is desirable.

• Experience in observability is highly desirable.
