We are looking for a passionate and skilled Female Badminton Coach to join a reputed sports and education setup in Coimbatore. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in badminton and formal certification such as NIS (National Institute of Sports). With a minimum of 2 years of coaching experience, you will be responsible for training students across skill levels while promoting discipline, fitness, and a love for the sport.

As a Badminton Coach, you will play a key role in developing athletes by focusing on technique, strategy, physical conditioning, and competitive readiness. The role requires a deep understanding of the sport, the ability to design structured training programs, and the passion to mentor young players in both recreational and competitive environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct structured badminton training sessions for students of different age groups and skill levels
• Teach fundamental and advanced techniques including footwork, strokes, serves, and match strategies
• Assess individual player performance and provide personalized coaching to improve skills
• Develop fitness routines focusing on agility, strength, endurance, and injury prevention
• Prepare students for inter-school, district, and state-level competitions
• Monitor progress and maintain performance records for each trainee
• Ensure safety standards are maintained during training sessions and use of equipment
• Instill sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among students
• Organize practice matches, tournaments, and sports events
• Collaborate with school management and parents to support athlete development

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Minimum 2 years of experience in badminton coaching or professional playing experience
• NIS certification (mandatory) or equivalent recognized coaching qualification
• Strong technical knowledge of badminton techniques, rules, and training methodologies
• Passion for sports and ability to motivate and inspire students
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents
• Ability to handle beginners as well as advanced-level players
• Strong focus on discipline, fitness, and overall athlete development
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive coaching approach
• Experience in training students for competitive tournaments is an added advantage
