BAMS Doctor – Gynaecology Exposure

QUALIFICATION

• BAMS from a recognized institution

• Valid Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

• 8–10 years of clinical experience required

• Strong exposure to Gynaecology / Obstetrics preferred

• Experience in hospital / maternity setup will be an added advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct initial assessment and clinical examination of fem-ale patients

• Assist in managing routine Gynaecology and Obstetric cases as per scope of practice

• Take detailed patient history and assess presenting complaints

• Assist in antenatal and postnatal patient care

• Monitor patients and follow treatment plans under the guidance of the concerned Consultant

• Assist during gynaecological and obstetric procedures as per training and hospital protocols

• Identify emergency situations and promptly escalate cases to the concerned Consultant

• Coordinate with Gynaecologists, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

• Provide appropriate patient counselling regarding treatment, medication and follow-up

• Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets and clinical documentation

• Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices and patient-safety standards

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Good clinical assessment and patient-handling skills

• Strong Gynaecology/Obstetrics exposure

• Excellent communication and counselling abilities

• Ability to work effectively with Consultants and nursing teams

• Responsible, professional and patient-centric approach
