Bar Manager

Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations in Mumbai, Maharashtra. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving revenue and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff scheduling - Train and develop bar staff to deliver excellent service and maintain a high level of product knowledge - Create and maintain a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for customers - Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability - Monitor and control costs to ensure budget targets are met - Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner - Collaborate with the kitchen team to create and update drink menus - Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to minimize waste and maximize profit - Stay updated on industry trends and new products to continuously improve the bar offerings - Work closely with the marketing team to promote the bar and increase its visibility - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff - Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a high-volume establishment - In-depth knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and staff scheduling - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine - Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software - Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and issues effectively - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Knowledge of health and safety regulations - Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
