Job Description - Basketball Teacher


  • Conduct basketball coaching sessions for students across different age groups.
  • Train students in fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive techniques.
  • Plan structured practice sessions based on students’ skill levels.
  • Develop teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and fitness among students.
  • Identify and nurture students with potential for competitive basketball.
  • Prepare students for inter-school competitions and sports events.
  • Ensure proper warm-up, cool-down, and safety practices during training.
  • Maintain discipline and ensure the safe use of sports equipment and facilities.


Requirements

  • Certification/Diploma in Basketball Coaching or Sports/Physical Education preferred.
  • Previous experience coaching school students is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and training methods.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students.
  • Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
