BI Lead

Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Visualization
  

• Strong experience with at BI tools like: Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, Metabase, or Apache Superset
  

• Proven experience in leading end-to-end BI projects, from requirements gathering to dashboard delivery and adoption
  

• Experience working closely with business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.)
  

• Prior experience leading or mentoring a team of BI engineers/analysts
  

• Good understanding of AWS data and analytics ecosystem
  

• Experience connecting BI tools to Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of BI dashboards and analytical solutions aligned to business goals
  

• Own end-to-end BI projects, including:
  

• Business requirement gathering
  

• KPI definition and metric standardization
  

• Data modeling and semantic layer design
  

• Dashboard development and performance optimization
  

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers/business stakeholders, driving discussions, demos, and feedback cycles
  

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions and ensure insights are actionable and decision-ready
  

• Manage and mentor a team of BI engineers, including task planning, reviews, and best-practice enforcement
  

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across dashboards and reports
  

• Work closely with data engineering teams to:
  

• Connect BI tools to AWS Data Lakes (S3, Athena, Glue, Iceberg)
  

• Integrate with Data Warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
  

• Optimize dashboard performance, data refresh strategies, and cost efficiency
  

• Drive BI adoption, enable self-service analytics, and define visualization standards
  

• Understanding of security, row-level security (RLS), and access control in BI tools
  

• Evaluate new capabilities, and recommend adoption strategies with GenAI integrated BI requests
