BI QA Tester

• ​5+ year’s in-depth experience as a QA tester in the software engineering field with an appropriate tertiary qualification.
  


• Senior level test skills including requirement gathering, test planning and test scenario identification
  


• Understanding of the BI database structures (Data Warehouse, ETL, Star Schema, Slowly Changing Dimensions, etc)
  


• Experience with using T-SQL to interrogate data
  


• You will have experience with test management tools (TFS Test Manager or similar).
  


• Passionate to help define what quality is at the team and organization level, and enable teams to own and pursue quality goals as part of their delivery
  


• Passionate about leading the continuous improvement of our testing discipline.
  


• Well organized, and able to effectively prioritize workloads and focus in on what is really important.
  


• The ability to drive outcomes and strong performance across the team.
  

Requirements

• Exposure to data, data platforms and Business Intelligence solutions.
  


• Team player who can work within a tight team environment and communicate effectively.
  


• Prior experience with either Power BI or Cognos would be an advantage
