& Collections Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Billing
& Collections Specialist to manage end-to-end customer billing, accounts
receivable, collections and revenue reporting across multiple entities and
geographies.

The ideal candidate should have experience in IT services or
cloud billing, hands-on knowledge of UAE VAT, working knowledge of India GST
and strong ERP and Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Revenue Operations (60%)

• Raise
  customer invoices in Odoo based on contracts and billing schedules,
  covering managed services, FTE staffing, projects and annual licences.
  
• Manage
  monthly Microsoft CSP and AWS cloud consumption billing using usage
  reports.
  
• Ensure
  timely processing of Microsoft incentives and Azure Accelerate claims.
  
• Apply
  correct UAE VAT and India GST treatment, including exports, reverse
  charge, LUT and e-invoicing/IRN.
  
• Manage
  foreign-currency invoicing, credit notes and billing corrections with
  appropriate approvals.
  
• Ensure
  contract billing schedules are accurate, and all deliverables are billed
  completely.
  

Collections & Accounts Receivable (30%)

• Manage
  customer collections, statements, payment reminders, follow-up calls and
  overdue escalations.
  
• Apply
  receipts accurately, including partial payments, TDS deductions and
  group-company receipts.
  
• Ensure
  no unapplied cash balances remain in customer accounts.
  
• Maintain
  accurate customer master data, including TRN/GSTIN, billing contacts and
  payment terms.
  

Reporting & Month-End Closing (10%)

• Prepare
  reports on unbilled revenue, contract billing completeness, AR ageing and
  cash collection forecasts.
  
• Support
  month-end reconciliations and prepare sales-side data for UAE VAT and
  India GST returns.
  
• Maintain
  revenue and collections compliance trackers and ensure timely closure of
  pending items.
  

Requirements

Must Have

• 4–7
  years of experience in billing, accounts receivable or revenue accounting,
  including at least 2 years in IT services, cloud or SaaS.
  
• Hands-on
  experience in UAE VAT invoicing and working knowledge of India GST.
  
• Experience
  in recurring, contract-based and milestone billing across multiple
  currencies and legal entities.
  
• Hands-on
  ERP experience; Odoo strongly preferred.
  
• Strong
  Excel skills and experience handling large usage reports.
  
• Familiarity
  with Microsoft Partner Center and/or AWS billing exports.
  
• Good
  English communication skills and confidence in handling customer
  collections over email and phone.
  

Good to Have

• Commerce
  degree or CA Inter, CMA or ACCA (part-qualified).
  
• Microsoft
  CSP or AWS reseller billing experience.
  
• Tamil
  or Hindi language skills.
